The Springfield X-Tension magazine sleeve slides down over the top of the high capacity magazine and fills the gap between the bottom of the grip frame and the base of the magazine. X-tension fits over full size magazine to make your sub-compact pistol frame fit a high capacity full size magazine. Does not extend the length of your current magazines.
